"The instructions for arrival were detailed and helpfully so. It didn’t detract from the excitement of the drive though. You need a car big enough to tackle the terrain and small enough to fit the track! The house was spotless and very well equipped. There was a thoughtful welcome basket including wine and pasta. "Very nice. Of all the 3 other places we stayed in Tuscany on prior vacations this was the best. Very comfortable and spacious one level apartment with a huge bathroom with shower and tub. Lovely views. Easy to park outside the flat. Very close to downtown Montecatini (but still in the countryside). Tizziana and Tessa were extremely helpful and sweet and answered all our questions. If you want the real Tuscan feel with a home away from home this is it."

Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber lief reibungslos (auf italienisch) und er war sehr freundlich. Der Garten war an einer Seite durch eine Hecke umzäunt, da wäre mir ein richtiger Zaun lieber gewesen. Mein kleiner Hund ist einmal sehr übermütig durch die Hecke durch und dahinter die ca. 2-3 Meter hohe Mauer hinunter...

"The property is a lovely old stone cottage and really is tucked away, very private & with lots of outside space. It has a well equipped kitchen & a welcome coffee machine, which you can buy additional pods for when visiting Lucca. The pool and parking areas are accessed via a number of steps so would recommend this to people who do not have mobility issues. "After a precarious drive up, we were blown away by the views and pool at this property. It is breath taking. There is a wonderful restaurant just up the road and a fantastic town below. Really great place to bring groceries, sit by the pool and relax. We had a fabulous spa day in the town, also. LOVED this stay and hope we can return!"

"We loved the house but it’s not for anyone with even slightly impaired walking, balance, or ability to climb stairs. The house is very old, but updated wonderfully. However we never saw any pool. I would definitely return to this house."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, rustic house high above the Bagna di Lucca valley. Charming bedrooms and bathroom on the top floor, comfortable spacious living room on first floor and huge well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor (worthy of a castle!) with doors leading onto the sunny terrace, perfect for dining and relaxing. "Laura’s property is truly amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. The views are spectacular and the pool and garden the perfect place to relax. The house was perfectly clean and has everything you need. Vitiana is a picture perfect Italian mountain village with lots of little alleys to explore. You do need to plan a little bit and buy enough food for a few days if you don’t want to drive down the mountain every day to go to the stores.
