"I received the digital keys by using the wifi at the nearby library but when I got to the hotel about 2 minutes away, I was offline so was unable to slide the keys. I don't use a plan for international travel because I find it's sufficient to use wifi at my accommodation. So at the Snooze, I had to wait until another guest arrived and provide me with the password. It would have been nice if Snooz provided that the day before check in. Also, the bike room was too small - I had to move a large and heavy e-bike that was blocking my regular bike in order to leave in the morning. Apart from these 2 issues, the room was fabulous as was the location."

"Van der Valk Leeuwarden exceeded our expectations. The hotel is modern, elegant, and beautifully maintained. Our room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were welcoming, professional, and attentive from check-in until departure. Breakfast offered a wide selection of fresh, high-quality food. The facilities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere felt luxurious yet relaxing. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again."

"Das Hausboot ist für 2 Personen ideal. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, da die hohen Temperaturen auf dem Wasser, wo immer ein laues Lüftchen wehte, gut auszuhalten waren. Wünschenswert wären Auflagen für die Holzstühle, die ohne recht ungemütlich sind, sowie Fliegengitter für die Fenster. Ansonsten war die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter reibungslos und Hilfe bei Problemen sofort zur Stelle. Wir hatten kein Wasser mehr, weil wohl jemand den falschen Hahn zugedreht hatte. Abhilfe wurde innerhalb kürzester Zeit geschaffen."

"The rooms are very clean, and cleaned daily The rooms are large and consist of sleeping area and Living area, the views from the bedrooms are of the marina which are beautiful. The breakfast was excellent and you can use the fantastic swimming pool as you wish. For the cyclists, take your bikes with you and there is a locked dry bike shed. The cycling paths are excellent, very safe and endless. They have a huge parking area and it's free"

"If you are looking for a bog standard corporate hotel this is not the place for you however if you are looking for an hotel with character and very helpful staff try this out. We were greeted by the manager who, on seeing that we were on motorbikes, very kindly opened her garage for us to store them overnight. The rooms, reached by a steep winding staircase, are a bit tired and could do with a revamp but they are clean and comfortable, as were the beds. The WiFi was good in both the rooms and the public areas. The bar was welcoming and the breakfast was very good indeed. The location was excellent, one canal away from the centre. If passing through again I would definitely stay here again."
