Welcome to Avalon! This is our stunning, clean, Spanish Styled vacation rental home in the lower Arcadia area on the border of Phoenix and Scottsdale and less than 3 miles to the popular Old Town Scottsdale area. Enjoy the close by attractions like Camelback Mtn hiking, Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall, Old Town Scottsdale, Desert Botanical Gardens, Phoenix Zoo, Golf and Giants Spring Training Stadium.

Large 4 bedroom 3 bath (2 showers and one shower\tub) that comfortably sleeps 8.

The home boasts an open floor plan that is separated in all the right places. Extensive renovations have been done inside and outside the home. Upon entry, you will enjoy the large open kitchen and dinning area. Cook like a gourmet chef on the high end 36" gas range and gather together around the massive granite topped kitchen island with seating for five. Just off the kitchen is a formal dinning space to enjoy your meals.

The Master bedroom has King bed and bathroom with shower. 2nd bedroom has Queen bed and bathroom with shower. 3rd bedroom has Queen bed and 4th bedroom has Full bed. The 3rd bathroom has a jetted bathtub with shower. All Bedrooms have Smart TVs with HULU and Disney+ and blackout curtains for a good night's sleep.

The main living space boasts vaulted ceilings, an atrium, fireplace, and wet-bar. This space is large and has tons of seating with a new cloud sofa sectional and reclining chair in addition to the bar seating. Enjoy the large flat screen TV with HULU and Disney+.

Step outside into your own private oasis. The covered patio has a large circular lounger and there is a flat screen TV mounted into the wall. The backyard has been extensively renovated with an outdoor kitchen, gas fireplace and fire pots, pebble-tec pool, and hot tub. Cook on the natural gas grill and enjoy multiple seating areas with outdoor sofa and chairs under the gazebo and outdoor table and chairs with umbrella. Take a dip in the pool that can be heated during the winter months and relax on the lounge chairs.

We lived in this home for 18 years so all of the upgrades have been done with a personal touch. The area is convenient to many local attractions and we love the area so much we purchased our current home just a few blocks away. If there is anything you need, we are close by to assist you.

** Heated Pool: Please note that while spa heating is included in every reservation, pool heating up to 86 degrees is available for $60/day or $420/wk (October - May). We cannot guarantee 86 degree water when night-time temps fall below 50 degrees. Definitely let us know if you want to enjoy a heated swimming pool during your visit!

Summer Break Getaway

House had everything you could want for a vacation week...plenty of room, plenty of amenities, good location, easy in/out, good host/owner to work with, well stocked supplies for the week (like laundry soap, cooking essentials like oil, spices so we did not have to buy them for one or two meals.) We will stay there again for our next annual visit.

Would recommend this house for a group wanting options. Has a very nice, large kitchen with upper end appliances. Nice sized bedrooms with comfy beds. This house was perfect for us! There were 6 of us, including 2 small children, and we all had plenty of room. The location was perfect as we were close to the Aquarium, Zoo, Airport, Old Town Scottsdale and Spring Training games. The house was clean and had plenty of amenities. Perfect for our needs!

This home was perfect for our needs. Brad was easy to communicate with and responded promptly. The split floor plan worked well for our family and allowed for private time. The spacious living area provided plenty of room for the family to spread out. The kitchen was very functional and well stocked with all the essentials. We paid extra to have the pool heated for the month and our family really enjoyed splitting time between the hot tub and the pool. We felt very safe in this quiet neighborhood with children walking to school and neighbors walking their dogs. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome Home and Host

This place was amazing in all respects. Well appointed, well maintained, close to excellent dining, and the host was awesome! The few times we reached out to the host he responded almost immediately. So helpful!! It was our first time in the area, and he had a comprehensive book full of great suggestions. It was a little too cold to use the pool, but the hot tub delivered! Beds were very comfortable and the house was very quiet. Nice streaming options came on the TVs for those quiet nights. Really nice patio with grill and fireplace plus canopy. We’d definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay in Phoenix!

What a fabulous rental home in a great neighborhood! It was just as described and pictured on website. So spacious with large common areas indoors and out to enjoy family time. Home was charming-very clean and in great condition with everything we could have needed during our 10 day stay. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Ample closet space too. Pool was great! Floaties were in the storage chest! Enjoyed our morning and evening time outside! This home is in an excellent location, so close to shopping and restaurants, Camelback Mt., Old Town, and less than 10 min to the airport! Brad is an excellent, attentive and communicative host. We would defitinitely return! Thank you!

Needs maintenance and cleaning

Could not stay at property due to cleanliness and safety concerns. Outdoor kitchen not useable. Owner needs a new cleaning crew. He did full refund for us but left us scrambling for alternate housing. No apology which made a bad situation even worse.

Perfect Spring Break Getaway

Loved everything about our stay! Communication - Our host always responded quickly any time we sent a message and was very helpful. We were provided a binder that had a lot of great suggestions for restaurants, etc. Location - Perfect location, nice and clean neighborhood, close to Old Town Scottsdale and the Zoo. Furnishings - Plenty of towels, toilet paper, paper towel, laundry supplies, cooking supplies. Beds had nice linens and were comfortable. The lounger outside by the TV was a great bonus! Outdoor Area - Highlight of the house. Plenty of floaties and toys for kids. We paid for the pool heating option, and it was well worth it. We visited in the spring, so morning temps got as low as 45. Even then, the pool was so warm and nice to swim in. The palm trees and other parts of the landscape were beautiful. The backyard is very private. We would book again in a heartbeat!!
