Both the check in process and check out process were very easy. The listing looks exactly like the actual property. The location is great very close to downtown.
We enjoyed staying in this cute little historic neighborhood. Plenty of space inside and outside. The owner was very easy to connect with when I had questions.
We needed a place to stay for two Christmas events that were in town and found Jason’s place to fit the description of what we were looking for. The place was very clean, check in was smooth, the area was private and close to the events we attended. Communication with Jason was easy and he responded immediately which made everything easier.
This little gem could not have been any better! It is exactly as listed; pictured exactly as shown. We stayed for a week with our fur babies. They loved walking the neighborhood every night and the fenced in yard was a bonus! Everything you could want or need is in the Casita. Communication was quickly responded to; the place was clean and quiet. If we are back in the Phoenix area, we would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed the property. When we figured where to go for meals and provisions it became easier to get around. The property managers, Tonya & Jason were very helpful throughout the whole process. The only negatives were maneuvering along a small area in between cars and bushes on gravel. This was from the street to the Casita. We had a hard time opening up the lock to get the entrance key. The key and lock to enter was equally as difficult. We had a fine time.
The property is a converted unit on the owner’s property. It’s accurately described, very clean, and well stocked. There is a Keurig coffee machine but no pods were made available. The bed is on the firmer side but we prefer it like that. I had to reach out to the owner’s for check in information but they were very responsive. The is was a nice stay in a nice location.
Great rental very close to downtown. Very clean and perfect for two couples or a small family. Brought our 100lb newfypoo who was very happy to sleep on the cool concrete floors. Stayed during the World Series and Halloween and it was a perfect spot in a very cute neighborhood.
The property was great, close to everything.I was just a little disappointed with some things, I felt it could have been cleaner, there were cob webs in the bathroom and in the living area, under the tv stand was dirty. The second bedroom by the bathroom, the bed was not desirable at all it had some plywood under the mattress. The rugs in the master bedroom was not clean and could have been a little more Comfortable as the floors are concrete. Kitchen area was great but again there was some misses the Keurig was dirty and there could have been more creamer for coffee, it only had 4 little pods. I’m not knit picking this is a really nice property and could be amazing with some upgrades.
This casita is just as advertised. It’s cute, conveniently located to everything, private and no hassle check in and out. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Jason!
My wife now wants to buy a house like that so safe to say we had a great time. Big yard for the pup and it was easy to check in.
Only two things was getting the casita
The cars pretty much take the whole entrance so we had to be really careful not to hit their cars with our luggage and at night it was kinda hot. You couldn’t adjust the temperature of the ac
We stayed here during a driving trip from CA to TX and it was great. I highly recommend it. The casita was clean, well-equipped, and convenient. Thanks for a great stay!!
Beautiful home with great Hosts!!! Wish I could have stayed longer! I had car trouble when I arrived, Jason took a look at my car and got it in good enough condition to get it to the dealer early the next day 💜
This VRBO is located in a Historic area in Phoenix. The neighborhood is quiet, walkable, easy to park, safe, and convenient to downtown, Chase Field, shops, restaurants, etc.
It has two large bedrooms, the beds are very comfortable, and the amenities meet our needs.
Hosts are easy to work with and available if needed.
Would book this again!
I really enjoyed staying here - loved the kind of industrial look of it, and it's very comfortable. My pup appreciated having a totally fenced-in private yard that he could be let loose in. The house is right next to the owners' main house, but it felt completely private and I only saw them once when we happened to be driving off at the same time. All the amenities, super clean, really nice neighborhood - I'd happily stay there again.
It was perfect. We were going to the USA versus Mexico soccer match. The location was fantastic for getting to the game took no time at all the amenities were fantastic. Everything was great. We will be staying there again as we go up to football games and other sporting events in Phoenix. It was a great combination for dogs as well as us.
Beds comfortable. Shower was great. Everything very clean and it was very cozy. Having the wifi password available would be good so didnt need to bother owner. Also I was confused the property was behind the main house. More lighting would be good since we came in at night. The neighborhood felt safe and was quiet. Could hear the highway.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
In accurate listing
It was not disclosed at the time of booking that there would be a pet fee.
$110 for a cleaning fee was unfounded as there were only two bath towels and one roll of toilet paper for a booking for four adults and a long black hair was in the freezer and sour liquid in the cocktail shaker cup. No ice or ice trays were provided.
Very sparse coffee, creamer and small amount of paper towels for a party of four adults.
Instructions were not clear that the property was behind main house.
Not disclosed until check-in day that there was only parking on the street.
Very narrow passage to walk past three cars in driveway.
It took 15 minutes of running the kitchen faucet to get hot water.
Stated there was Wi-Fi but no code was provided.
Very disappointed to have paid more than $300 for one night.
I’m still amazed at how private this place felt despite being on the homeowner’s property! Beautiful living room and bedrooms. The stay went by way too fast. We came for a birthday and anniversary staycation in Phoenix with our dog and had a couple friends over for dinner one of the nights. Grateful this place was available and hope to be back again soon.
The only things that weren’t communicated - it should be in the security description that there is a camera by the entrance to the rental space (glad it was, but hadn’t seen it listed in the ad), and clarified whether the camera on top of the owner’s house facing their backyard has the yard/entrance of the rental space in view. It did take away a bit of the feeling of seclusion, wondering if we were being watched.
10/10 recommend, and hope we stay again!!
