"The spa water was cold and the jets stopped working half way through the time I was in the water, I tried to restart it but I could not get it to go. After a few minutes I just went to my room instead. The rest of the room and amenities were clean and comfortable. "

"It is a historic hotel do rooms and bathrooms are on the small size. I love the historic touches they still have. The room was clean and the staff was great. They have to parking so you have to park in a parking garage. We used one right around the block. My only complaint would be the bed was hard. It was like sleeping on a board and the pillows were not much better "

"One star for overall experience. It could be 0 if it weren’t for the staff We stayed in the North Pointe Tower and it felt like a forgotten time capsule. Elevator out of service, broken TV that never got fixed, missing tiles, torn canopy, and cleanliness that felt optional. I can understand old and outdated, but dirty is a choice. Walking the property was eerie. There are restaurant spaces that look completely abandoned, dark and empty in a sad, unsettling way. Exposed cables, worn surfaces, and overall disrepair make it feel like no one is maintaining this place. The only redeeming part is the waterpark. That’s where things feel alive, and the staff at Slim Pickins were great. Even then, the bathrooms could use renovation. Shoutout to Aggie at the lobby bar and Dick at the bell desk, both fantastic. But overall, this property should not be open in this condition. Renovations are understandable. Neglect is not. Pick another place!"

"The food was good. We stayed four nights. Had their breakfast buffet daily. The main course was the same every day except they swapped out oatmeal with cream of wheat/grits. Wish there had been more of a variety. Out of milk for two of the days. "

"I recently stayed at a hotel in downtown Phoenix, and I have to say, my experience wasn’t the best. One of the main issues I faced was with the cleaning staff. They kept coming into my room even when I wasn't there, which felt a bit unsettling. It seemed like they weren’t really doing much, and I couldn't shake the feeling that they might have been snooping around. I appreciated their effort to keep the place clean, but it would have been nice if they had respected my privacy a bit more. Overall, the location was decent, and the amenities were okay, but I don’t think I would choose to stay there again just because of that discomfort."
