"We enjoyed our stay at the little cottage. The cost and location were perfect for us. We were able to go to experience Acadia and Bangor. But, also able to relax and enjoy the cottage, the view and Green lake. The weather was cool for the week, but a day of rain also provided a day of relaxation.We were able to enjoy a campfire one peaceful evening. Enjoyed also kayaking across the lake.Just down the railroad tracks is Revolution Rail which was a great activity – even if it was misting a bit.The window air conditioners upstairs kept the area cool for sleeping. There was also a window air conditioner on the main level, but it was a cooler week so did not have to use it all the time.If you are a person that gets up in the night to go to the bathroom, you will have to adapt to going down the stairs at night to the only bathroom on the main floor. There are motion lights along the stairway that light the way. The kitchen had everything we needed and was well supplied.Michelle was very easy to communicate with and responded in a timely manner.Overall, our experience at this little cottage, met our expectations!"
Dreamy Bucksport Hideaway on Freshwater Pond!

"Beautiful remote cabin right next to small and quiet Moulton Pond. Lots of space for a family of 5, with 3 beds and a half bath upstairs, my husband and I stayed in the bedroom downstairs with the only bathroom with a shower which worked out fine. The kitchen was stocked with pots/pans and an array of utensils - we cooked every meal and enjoyed the evenings around the fire roasting marshmallows and listening to the sounds of the bullfrogs and the resident loon family. Be aware you are in the woods so there are lots of bugs, spiders and other flying and crawling insects. The water at this time of year was refreshing however when the wind kicked up it got a bit cool. The kayaks were a plus and we tried fishing but only caught small sunfish and smelt (smaller than my hand!) There were several worthwhile hikes under 30min away and of course Acadia National Park is only an hour drive just get there early before the crowds. The Beehive trail was one of the highlights of our trip though not for those fearful of heights! Camden State Park is an hour way and well worth it and the town is cute as well. Our family enjoyed our stay in Maine, the farm fresh eggs, browsing the antique and thrift stores, and just enjoying nature."

"Property is perfect for spending time inside or out. The 3 minute walk across the property to the lake was great because we had a toddler with us. The set back from the road was very helpful too. The cabin was clean and comfortable with a decently stocked kitchen. The barbecue grill was not working and Casey responded to our text immediately and had a new one on the deck the next day. Excellent response!Great WiFi. The short distance to Bar Harbor and Acadia park contribute to the enjoyment of the stay, and lobster pounds are close by.We hope to be back soon!"
