"Great property, great stay at a very nice cottage. We visited for the weekend for Penn State’s homecoming. Close to the stadium, easy access to I-99 and plenty of food options w/in 3 miles. Two bedrooms w/king size beds and a couch w/a trundle. Very comfortable w/TV, patio, firepit, and charcoal grill. The worse part of the weekend was the non-stop rain on game day."

"The property was very nice. My only complaint was the lack of sound proofing as i am a very light sleeper and I could hear everything no matter if I closed the bedroom door or not. We enjoyed our stay right next to the trail at the river."

"This is a very charming, authentic log cabin. It has been lovingly cared for and has all of the comforts of home. The immense logs and wide plank floors, hand-made cabinets and doors, speak of an era long gone, but a joy to visit. It is not for those looking for the Ritz, but it is a masterpiece in its own way."

"The owners were excellent hosts. Great value for the price. Located in nice neighborhood. Loved the rustic wood floor and antiques. Clean and warm. Owners kept the kitchen stocked with tea and coffee. Very “homey” feel. The open bathroom wasn’t a big issue for us since we stayed with family. Less expensive than any other hotels in the area, especially on a game weekend."

"We had a wonderful stay at the lodge. For a gathering with friends that included a couple children, this was a perfect place. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable and the huge dining room table, deck, and firepit were perfect for our group. One thing that I didn't plan for was the lack of cell service -- it was actually nice to be out of reach but I did have to drive to find service in order to pull up the door code to check-in, should have planned for that.
