There is no better place to ring in the New Year than the Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia. We stayed for NYE plus two additional days, and the experience was flawless from start to finish. The historic architecture of the building provided a grand backdrop for the holiday festivities, and the atmosphere was electric yet refined. The service was quintessential Ritz—anticipatory and warm. Whether we were enjoying a cocktail in the stunning lobby lounge or retreating to our room, the staff made us feel like the only guests in the building. It was the perfect home base for exploring the city after the ball dropped. An unforgettable start to the year; we are already looking forward to our next stay!

Bed was really comfy. Wasn't impressed with the room though for the prices of a Ritz and it didn't have refrigerator other than the mini-bar. The bartenders and bellmen were FANTASTIC! Breakfast was average, but the eggs were excellent! Be aware you will hear the bell from City Hall on the hour so if you want to sleep in, don't stay here!

The staff were polite and accommodating. We enjoyed breakfast at their restaurant. The room was clean and spacious with a great view of downtown. The bed was very comfortable.
