A gem of a hotel in Philadelphia with great rates and super location, to be honest better than Hampton Inn I stayed last time which was 3 times the price. For a city centre location, the rooms are of a good size

Clean room, quick check in process. Main door entrance is locked at all times (key card is used to access getting in) due to location but we didnt notice threats when we were there and we werw out til 10PM. Breakfast was decent: bagels, cereal, yogurt, milk, toast, eggs. Very close to Reading Market and Chinatown. Decent, clean but Inexpensive hotel!

Great location and a good value! I got a corner room that was surprisingly spacious. Everything was clean and well maintained. For some reason the room had two thermostats, and it was difficult to figure out how to calibrate them to get a comfortable temperature—room had been chilled to 65 before my arrival! Breakfast offerings were minimal, but the hotel is near Reading Terminal Market which has great breakfasts!

The Staff were friendly. The room was clean but the furniture was stained. The breakfast wasn't great and there were spoiled creamers. My biggest concern was the area surrounding the hotel. There were several homeless individuals sleeping in the alleys and begging for money. I wouldn't venture out at night because of this. I wouldn't stay there again.

1. Clean and tidy. The room was very clean and well maintained. 2. Good location, but there were some homeless people outside the entrance. 3. Terrible breakfast. The boiled eggs were cold, the coffee was extremely watery, and the food selection was very limited.Honestly, I would rather skip breakfast and have $10 taken off the room rate. 4.Very noisy in the early morning. people start loading and unloading goods shortly after 5 a.m. every day, making a lot of noise and disturbing sleep.

I wouldve given this five stars but I couldn't give the last star due to something out of their control. One can expect logistical challenges when opening a hotel in a small, old building such as this one. In this case, our room didn't have any natural light, just a window looking into the hallway. Beyond that, everyone from the front desk to housekeeping were helpful and courteous. I was in town with my small kids for a concert and were allowed early check in and late check out based on occupancy. I would definitely stay here again though I'd specifically request a room with a city view

My wife and I stayed here for one night after a concert. For a budget hotel, we found the property to be clean and convenient. The breakfast is very basic, but adequate if you only want something small and quick. There is a diner on the corner, if you want something more substantial. The late night convenience stores in the neighborhood left something to be desired, but that’s what it is on the north side of the Convention Center after 11PM. Overall, the stay met all of our basic needs.

Most of the rooms have no windows with daylight. The windows open on the hall way so you need your curtains closed at all time. The lighting is so-so. All this makes the rooms feel like caves. The lack of windows facing the outside should be mentioned in the description of the rooms. That said, the property is very clean and well maintained. The staff is pleasant and helpful.
