"We had a fantastic week in Martin and Petra’s lovely cottage. Lots of great walking (if hilly!) and cycling opportunities. We visited Freiburg, Titisee, Donaueschingen and a few wineries. "This property has to offer one of the most relaxing holidays you could ever hope for. It is ideally situated for visiting The Black Forest, Switzerland and the Alsace Wine Route. "The property is overall good with perfect cleaniness. The kitchen has everything that is needed. The house is a bit aged (1970s maybe) and renovations are sometimes done without professional help, but everything works and is in good shape. One of the rooms is not really a room ( just a part of the Souterrain with a curtain). The garden is tiny and not really inviting. "We enjoyed a great stay! The village is very close to so many other villages and larger towns in the Alsace. Carmen’s gite is spacious, very comfortable and very well maintained. It is extremely well equipped, there was absolutely everything we needed. We loved knowing our car and bicycles were safe as the fire and parking are behind an electric gated area. You do need a car as there are no amenities within walking distance, Aldi is about 2.5k out of the village. Fabulous for exploring the...

"L'Atelier is delightful and a high quality conversion. The decor was creative and admirable. The facilities were excellent. Communications with the family were easy and the location was good for learning about the wines of France ( around Colmar) or Germany ( Kaiserstuhl). Pretty villages, a majestic river nearbye all made for a fine stay. L'Atelier is a testament of love from the family to their Grandfather."

The house was clean and fully stocked with all your needs. The sauna, whirlpool and rain shower are great! "Arrived late on September 28, Looking over the interior of the house, Wow, what a beautiful property. The place is like a castle. Very big. The bedrooms all very clean and the living areas all very nice. We did notice that some of the flatware in the drawer was still dirty, Probably due to past renters not checking completely when returning it to the drawer.
