"This house was charming, and we loved our time there. It is an excellent base for exploring the Périgord and also an excellent place for sitting outside in the evenings with a glass of wine. The kitchen can actually be cooked in and has everything you need. The view from the house is lovely. Florence is great and helped to get us settled, and we could not have asked for a better stay. "

"Stayed in the upstairs appartment which run the length of the building .Very well equipped with washing machine and a dish washer,a welcome surprise. The pool is in a secluded garden location. Negatives Our end bedroom had a strange en suite bathroom arrangement. A screen instead of a wall. A Jack n Jill sink taking up space that could have been used for a toilet and single sink. A bit odd!."

La piscine, le jacuzzi et le gîte sont très bien entretenus par des propriétaires très accueillants. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le parc ombragé et clôturé équipé de jeux pour enfants et pour adultes, la piscine chauffée et le jacuzzi. Tout était parfait pour des vacances inoubliables."

"We really enjoyed our holiday at La Renaudie. It is a very attractive traditional house with some lovely original features, as well as a very nice modern pool. We were welcomed on arrival and any questions were answered promptly throughout our stay. Would return."

"Located in a side valley to the Vezère, the cottage is situated directly next to the very picturesque tiny Village of Valojoulx. The region does not require further recommendation... The cottage itself is built against the rock shelter flanking the village, as is typical for the region. "Lovely views from the pool out across French countryside. Pool is modern, clean and good size. Some issues with the electric cover, but that was down to a failed sensor which is on order. House is lovely and unspoilt, we loved it. But for some the interior lighting might be on the dim side. This did not bother us as we were out by the pool most of the time. There are alot of steps to negotiate, some steep and narrow. Again, we were fine with it but worth noting. Overall we would highly recommend...

"This place had everything! It was beautiful, comfortable, peaceful, and spacious. Anthonia provided us with helpful suggestions before we even got there, and her daughter, Sanne, welcomed us when we arrived. She explained all the appliances (which were in the Dutch language) and remained available when we needed her. I would definitely recommend this beautiful property and would love to return!"

"We had an veranda and it was amazing view and ambiance. The hotel is clean and perfectly situated right in town. We were disappointed that we only stayed 2 nights. Hotel aside, what really clinched it for me to cause me to write this review was the service. I had forgotten my laptop and immediately the cleaning staff notified us but we were already on our way to Paris. The hotel then helped coordinate the laptop to be shipped back to Canada for me and kept me in the loop the whole process. Valentin - thank you for making a stressful situation much simpler! Highly recommend the staff and the hotel, I hope to be back one day."
