It is a very short 3 minute walk to the center of the beach and our favorite taverna, Mythos. There was a reserved parking place for our rental car at all times. The outdoor shower was fantastic. "We wanted to experience Crete's culture. You really cannot do that when you stay in a hotel with 500 or your favorite friends!! This Villa is located about 30 minutes from Rethymno. Nestled in the foothills surrounded by olive orchards at about 1100 feet above sea level. We were there for 18 days. We discovered a Taverna (Mina's) in Garazo about 15 minutes away. "We have stayed at the Sea- esta beach 3 times and it never changes .It is spacious and the veranda is big and well equipped for outside dining. The beds are very comfortable with good quality pillows and bedding. The beach is on your doorstep the restaurants are friendly and typical Cretan but what makes it so special are the people they go above and beyond to make your holiday special.
