It is walkable to the city centre (around 15 minutes), but there are also good public transport links both to the city centre and to the airport and Palexpo. If you arrive in the evening and need to eat, there's an Italian restaurant a couple of doors down on the corner that does good food. There's also a Japanese restaurant opposite. "We loved this wee apartment in Geneva! Located by the UN, it is far enough away from downtown to be quiet and restful, and close enough for a modest walk (about 25-30 minutes to Old Town). Grocery and pharmacy are nearby, and the view off the balcony is wonderful. Karim is helpful and responsive. We had a lovely time!"
