"Nothing fancy but a nice place to stay. Needs a little TLC and a few things need repaired but at the same time it isn't overpriced. Great location in proximity to the lake and not too far away from town either. I would stay here again."

"Got there Wednesday. Nice little place. Thursday spent the day fishing on the lake. Got back Thursday night made Chicken on the grill. Slept in Friday and left around 1030. Really liked the place. Would definitely go back. Thank you. "

"This cozy little home is perfect for spending several days in the country. It is close enough to Millheim to get groceries, hand out at a winery, get coffee or beer; and yet be quiet and watch the Amish buggies go by as you sit on the front porch. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking, and the space is welcoming. It is located well for fishing, biking, hiking, swimming at Poe Paddy or just hanging out on the front porch. No TV ensures that you will relax, we did not miss it!"

"Property was very clean and very quiet. Only a few problems….the toilet seat was broken, they didn’t provide enough toilet paper and paper towels (luckily we had our own) and they didn’t provide dish towels to dry dishes. Also be warned that there is no AC, but they do provide a fan. Overall though, good unique experience. "

"Great property, great stay at a very nice cottage. We visited for the weekend for Penn State’s homecoming. Close to the stadium, easy access to I-99 and plenty of food options w/in 3 miles. Two bedrooms w/king size beds and a couch w/a trundle. Very comfortable w/TV, patio, firepit, and charcoal grill. The worse part of the weekend was the non-stop rain on game day."

"My daughter and I really enjoyed our ten-day stay in Granville, along the Juniata River. The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The atmosphere was peaceful in this out-of-the way location, but just a short drive to town for supplies. The free-range chickens were entertaining but made a mess on the front porch. However, the care taker swept and hosed it off regularly. I would rent this place again."

"The house was great for our family. It had two master bedrooms with attached bathrooms. Plus two other bedrooms. Beautiful deck. The fenced in yard allowed play location for the kids. I saw on other comments mention of dust webs...true if you look for them... but welcome to the woods. Overall it has a clean feeling. Advice, bring hand towels... there arent any in the 4 bathrooms in the house. If we go back to Raystown...wed reserve this house again!"

"The property was very nice. My only complaint was the lack of sound proofing as i am a very light sleeper and I could hear everything no matter if I closed the bedroom door or not. We enjoyed our stay right next to the trail at the river."

"We were greet by a super sweet lady, Sharon who showed us around the property. I would not Consider this property as “having all the amenities of home”’as there is no WiFi, couch or tv” but it’s the perfect place for. “Camping” style trip as the mattresses are very thin. There are No places deliver food to this location so make sure to bring everything you need as the closest store is about 25 minutes away. Also a little further of a drive to PSU as we realized. We will definitely be checking...

"Gorgeous location! Spacious and comfortable living area with large kitchen and bathroom for multiple people getting ready for a Penn State tailgate. Beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy. Host went above and beyond to help us find the secluded location when GPS failed, and very responsive to all queries. Would love to return in better weather with more time to enjoy the property."
