"Everything was as advertised ,clean and functional. The host went out of her way to make sure that my experience was first class and it was. A big shout out to her neighbor who pitch hit for her When she hurt her leg. It’s very close to the train station maybe five minutes by car and it made the right into Douro very very easy."

"Our family spent a week at this property and we cannot say enough good things about it. The house itself was spotlessly clean, the pool and view was amazing and the house, including the kitchen, fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. There was lots of room for everyone in our group and each bedroom having its own bathroom was a big plus. We didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay and would not hesitate to return again!"

"This is a converted reception area for a winery. It has two gigantic tables and a sleeper sofa, plus as many rollaway beds as you need. The bathroom is small but serviceable. Pro: We liked the area. It's at the end of a gravel road and you're surrounded by grape vines, fruit trees, and garden. The owner was nice. Con: It was smoky (smelled of cigarettes). The ad said it had a washer, but it does not - the owner will do your laundry. He messed ours up. Beds are uncomfortable."
