"Agreed with all comments about the exceptional home made style breakfast. However, the second night there was a group playing guitar and singing. With over 200 years house, this was not welcomed especially after a tiring long ski day. Phoned hotel and also Expedia on that same night but both myself and Expedia could not get hold off host for resolution. "This Inn was built in 1801, so it’s a very old Inn. There are not enough superlatives. Fantastic. Awesome. Amazing. Going back definitely. All rooms are beautifully furnished with four-posters and very comfortable chairs. Place to be lived in. Immaculately clean. As soon as you walk in you want to stay forever. Warm. Delicious homemade breakfasts. Innkeeper Elizabeth is friendly and accommodating. We could have talked for hours. Still blissing out days later. "

"Completely unplug at this GORGEOUS mountainside Inn. Close enough to a few dining and shopping options so that you're not completely removed if you choose not to be. Glenn and Kay are most welcoming and Kay's breakfasts are DEEE-LICIOUS!!! Ask for the cheesy potatoes...you can't miss!!! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!! Would go back in a minute!!!"

"We stayed in the 8-room converted barn. The room very large and a pleasant surprise featuring a great view, soaking tub in the living area, gas fireplace, and a very comfortable king bed. I would give Windham Hill Inn five stars, but I deducted a star because of a clogged bathroom sink, a difficult to control HVAC system, and live and dead bugs in the room. Although somewhat dated, the room was spectacular for the price. "

"At first it was difficult to get in touch with the owners, as the number listed on some sights is the older number. Once I did they were wonderful. They took their time to think of everything to make your stay comfortable. So many little details! The town is so lovely - old victorian style and the house is walkable to a few restaurants. Great to have a mini kitchen available to use, with a big fridge to store items, while also a mini fridge in the room. Look forward to staying here again next...

"This was an amazing property. The beauty of it made for a truly wonderful weekend experience! The initial booking was smooth and effortless. Communication with the host was stellar from start to finish! When we arrived two of the caretakers were on site to greet us. They thanked us for choosing to stay, offered to help with getting settled, and gave us vital advice on preventing bobcats and bears from being attracted. hey even left some farm fresh eggs for us! "My family really enjoyed this Lake House. The beautiful views of the lake were breathtaking. The house had everything we needed for preparing meals. The kitchen was functional and generally well equipped. The beds in the house were particularly comfortable. We enjoyed early morning coffee on the deck with perfect views of the lake. The location was great. Lots of wonderful hiking trials in close proximity. My only suggestion to the owners is to give the house a good deep cleaning. Nonetheless,...

"The unit was perfect for our ski race weekend. Very accessible, underground parking included (ski boxes on top of SUVs will not fit - thankfully we left ours at home), really nice place with everything we needed!"
