"Very helpful staff in reception at check in, advised local bus to St Andrews. Used it two days in a row. Spa and gym facilities nice bonus. Enjoyed excellent selection for breakfast and dinner. Thanks to all staff, hard working and so helpful. Will look forward to staying again."

"We have stayed at the Hydro several times over the past few years. On this occasion, there was a marked improvement in the room quality. We were on the first floor and the room was freshly decorated with loads of space, a great shower and very comfy beds. The breakfast was buffet style and excellent, with a separate gluten free area. The evening meal, too, was of a high quality. Staff were friendly and efficient. Well be back soon."

"Excellent hotel within walking distance of the pretty town of Bo'ness, and the train and car museums. A great base to explore the wider area too. The staff are excellent, the rooms spotlessly clean and comfortable and the on-site bar and restaurant are also great."

"Very good indeed once you realise that you have to do a large detour around the adjacent pub to get in. The presence of a portable fan in the room and the fact that you can't open the window more than a tiny bit may indicate that it could get unbearably hot in the summer. Weather was cold and wet during my stay."
