If youre looking for a basic basic hotel that is spotlessly clean, in a really central lovation at a great price then this is it.
No frills. No services. Its a room (en suite) offering only. We'll definitely be back.
Convenient to a multitude of restaurants; secure parking. Basic but comfortable rooms.

Good central location, fairly modern building, bed comfortable, room spacious and quiet, bathroom nice and modern. Friendly staff.
Appeared to be only 4 parking bays available and no staff available to open the garage door when departing in the morning.
The building has damp issues and could be smelt at the reception, the room smelt of damp carpet and paint bubbling was observed at the base of the walls. No iron available.
The foyer is a shared facility between apartments and needs a good clean and repaint.
Staff was outstanding and accommodating. The amenities, cleanliness and room were unacceptable. Staff did what was right which gives them a better overall score than the level of cleanliness demands
Fine if all you need is a place to sleep and you don't care if there are noisy appliances, rising damp, rust stains, holes in the walls and scuff marks everywhere.
WOW Deluxe is deft pushing it and as for a queen bed - nope try double. I emailed ahead to say I was going to be a late checkin and was advised "no problem, just ring this mobile number". After gettig no answer after a few tries I got out of the safety of my car (there were a few blokes walking around that had abviously been at the bar) to find a note with a different number on the door. When someone finally answered that number they knew nothing about my arrival and challenged me even having a reservation. Anyhow I would have forgiven that if I then had not walked into a room with holes in walls and in the bathroom door, a couch so stained i was scared to sit on it in case of catching something, a desk that could not be used as the chair was too high to sit under the draw in the way and a bathroom with someone elses hair all over it. About the only thing going for this place was the bed sheets were clean. Though it is deft NOT a queen bed - it is only a double. I only paid $90 and I know that is cheap in Perth but hey I expected it to be clean at least. Also, I may have missed it in the information - but beware there is a fee to park too.
Citylights absolutely astounded me with the cleanliness of the room. I have to stay in hospital quite frequently and this hotel is cleaner than there. Surrounded by amazing food choices. High traffic area, and yet, the moment the door closes, you don't hear a thing. The beds are so comfortable, I like a semi firm bed if that helps. Bathroom is gorgeous and once again, so, so clean. A lot of glass and white and everything shines. Brilliant. I must say, it has taken me a while to review as I don't want it to be booked out everytime I need it. Selfish I know! Only tiny thing was some paint off the wall in one cotner. Looks like it was caused by luggage so they definitely get a bye on that. A reminder for people; you don't own it, but please treat it like you do. Things last much longer that way.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The rooms were quite spacious and comfortable but having nowhere to clean clothes or cook meals was quite a deterrent to staying there again.
This place is a rabbit warren and a fire trap. I made sure my wife and myself were familiar with the location of the fire escapes when first arriving at our room. I think it would be near impossible to navigate the maze to escape, if woken in the dead of night with a fire in the building.
This property was fantastic!
It was a couple of minutes walk from Northbridge, an IGA and a myriad of coffee shops.
The room was fantastic!!
Yes, it had some peeling paint, and some wear and tear, but you're not paying for a 5 star recently built hotel here.
This place is fantastic, it's cheap, within a 5 minute walk of a free city bus, supermarket, cafe's, bars... it's just fantastic!
The staff are helpful, and made my stay so easy, I even extended my stay and they made that easy too! Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. If only they had hotels like this in every state of Aus!
Good facilities for an excellent price. Easy check in and close to downtown area.

Television didnt work. Reception was locked at 3pm saturday. had to wait around .Shower leaked into the carpet, was quite wet. Nice location. Much better places to stay elsewhere with better management
Was only here for 1 night but it was just what was needed prior to my flight back to the U.K. Clean, good wifi, TV, fridge and safe. My previous stay in Perth had been near Elizabeth Quay. If I hadn't stayed at Citylights I would have missed out walking round Northbridge & Hyde park. Its also close to the museum, art gallery & State library.
