"We had the most wonderful time with our family of 3 generations from New Zealand, Australia and England. The weather was perfect ,the beautiful pool enjoyed by everyone. The forest was enjoyed by us all especially our eldest son from NZ who did the forest walk daily to the Boulangerie for our fresh baguettes and croissants . Michel and Brigette were the perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome . Their property is beautifully maintained and we all agreed that it was a real privilege to holiday...

It was incredibly relaxing to sit out in our little front garden and watch the swallows swooping over the flowers. The pool and main garden were lovely to spend time in too. "We had a wonderful 10 days at Yvan’s beautiful farmhouse. It’s fantastically private and only the sounds of the birds to accompany you. The pool is lovely and the views across the valley at the top of the meadow above the pool are heavenly. Yvan was very responsive and attentive to any needs we had. "Beautiful property, stone and beams inside, very rustic, equiped with everything you could need including BBQ and very comfy bed! Wonderful views whichever way you looked, a lovely pond where I saw fish, frogs and water snakes! The owners Sarah and Tim are fantastic! Such lovely friendly people with a wealth of local knowledge! (Including advising us of the best way to get to the rugby in Bordeaux!) I must also mention Tia, their rescue dog who we became very fond of! Such a well behaved...

"We can’t rate the property highly enough - spacious open plan living, comfortable bedrooms, hot water, and lots of outside space. Karine and Olivier were attentive, friendly hosts, patient with our terrible language skills and made every effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The village was an easy five minute walk, even with reluctant toddlers, with a fantastic bakery, restaurants and a beautiful paddling spot. So many great day trips possible from this location. Wonderful."

"This comfortable, well-appointed apartment is within easy walking distance to the cathedral and the historic center of Perigueux. With bedrooms and bathrooms on opposite ends, it would work well for a family or two couples. The apartment is quiet and very secure. We appreciated having a private parking place and direct access to the small park next to the cathedral. The street market in front of the cathedral was a treat. Isabelle was charming and very helpful. We highly recommend this apartment...
