"Because wet weather curtailed our sightseeing we arrived two hours too early so unsurprisingly there was no room ready for us. The reception staff made us coffee and let us drip gently in a comfy corner of the reception area until a room was available. Dinner was exceptional. "

We had several ‘challenges’- the heater in the bathroom only stayed on for 1 minute, the hairdrier did not work, the room was very clean when we arrived but daily room service was poor- only made the bed and changed the towels. The cups were not changed and the floor was not cleaned (we stayed for 4 nights. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very poor value for €9. We were happy with the location because we enjoy walking so walked into the town to eat- the walk around the lake would be lovely in the daylight!"

"We stayed for one week in July/Aug and had a fantastic time. The house is very clean and tidy with a great set of facilities, particularly for children (cot, high chair, stair gates etc). The pool is definitely the highlight at it is very well maintained and is heated which means it can be used for the whole family. Geanina is an amazing host who responds promptly to requests and is really helpful in making your stay perfect. There is a good supermarket (Intermarche) within 10 mins drive and also an amazing patisserie and boulangerie (Aux Co'Pains Gourmands)."
