"Gorgeous hotel. The reviews are (thankfully) right - there's a huge amount of attention to detail here, and the staff are lovely and friendly. The rooftop bar has to have one of the best views of Venice, and was a particular hightlight, though our room was wonderful too - we were upgraded to a junior suite (joint big birthday!) with 4 large picture windows looking out over the lagoon, and its own walk in wardrobe. "Let's just say that we found a cockroach in our room, asked the hotel staff to deep clean our room and were insanely grossed out but didn't want to make a huge fuss. Went back to our room and still found the cockroach roaming. Crazy to me this would happen at a 4 star hotel but disappointed in the least I can say."
"We had a wonderful stay at Gabrielli Apartments. The apartments are spacious, spotless, and perfect for families, with very easy access. Breakfast at the main hotel was amazing, and the staff were always warm and friendly. A real highlight is the beautiful garden at the main hotel — such a peaceful hideaway from the hustle and bustle of Venice. Highly recommended for families!"
