"The photos make this property look a lot better than the reality. The reality is that the house is very tired and in need of TLC. The entire place stank of bleach when we arrived, yet simple things like cobwebs and dirty cupboard doors had not been cleaned. Half eaten and opened food from previous guests had been left in the cupboards. Bugs were found in one bed. Packets of rizla were found by our children in the garden on the furniture. We traveled from Australia only to find this host had let the apartment to someone else for a higher rate as Liverpool had the players parade and a number of other events. The host did not respond to any contact requests or return phone messages. We were forced to find alternative accommodation in Manchester and also commute back and forth to Liverpool.
