I didnt realize her contact & 24hour contact didn't work, so we took long time to check-in (Guimaraes might be a safe place, but...😥😫) Also "the reception opens at 10am" is too late. the price is really reasonable if guests don't do late-check-in. "

"First stay in a hostel and it beat expectations. Had private washrooms and shared kitchen. Other residents were great. in that they made room in the fridge for some of our stuff and were nice and pleasant to a couple of old travelers. Safe and Clean, Perfect for passing through"

"Don’t be fooled by the drive down to the driveway doors. Once they open, the property is beautiful. Common area for leisure and dining very tastefully decorated. Our room was very clean and spacious. Would highly recommend this place for affordable accommodation. Manuela suggested we eat at a restaurant down the street(Cancelas) what a wonderful place to eat. One portion was enough for 2. The bacalhau with the restaurant special sauce was delicious. "
