It is 5 minutes from the middle of downtown and 25 minutes to Pensacola Beach. This guest house is completely separate from the main house and has one parking spot on the street. There is an elevated loft over the living room with a comfortable queen bed. The living room features a large, mounted, flat screen TV and a pull out queen sleeper sofa. When we arrived at The Moreno St Loft we discovered that it was exactly as described and pictured in the listing. In addition, the host personally gave us a tour of the pool and hot tub along with instructions. At first blush we thought we might feel cramped or intruding but that was not the case. We really felt at home and welcomed. There is a private patio off of the kitchen where we had morning coffee and evening wind downs that we really appreciated. Just a note that the queen bed is in the loft and the bathroom is downstairs, (the stairs are wide and have a sturdy had rail) so it was not really a big deal.

Very quiet and clean. Will definitely visit again. The only down fall is the parking on the street. It is very narrow street and had other cars park on the street sometimes on both sides of the street. This cottage allows up to 4 guests but nowhere for multiple cars to park. We ended up having to leave our other car parked downtown So, it just took some planning. But overall again a very clean and quite location.

What a trip! We stayed for a whole week and we took advantage of having the kitchen! We left a wine opener there for the next people, that seemed to be all that we had to get. The place was exactly as pictured. The loft bed is cozy, our kids enjoyed the couch! The pool and hottub were a plus! We loved coming back to a cozy little home away from home. I already want to come back. The neighborhood is very cute! We didn't get to walk around it but I so wish we had time. This place is great for a get away and far enough away from the hassle of the beach but close enough that the drive daily there was not bad at all!

Overall, it was a beautiful property but there were a few things that could be improved upon. The hot tub was not working and we didn’t know how to use it(the lounge area in the pool did not look like it had been cleaned either). I reached out to the owners but I didn’t get any return response. The bed in the loft provided very little headspace. We thought maybe it would help to not have the bed on the frame but just sitting on the floor, it would give it a lot more space up there. The Roku remote wasn’t working and the couch bed had a corner that was broken. Also, the parking situation was a little less than desirable. It would’ve been nice if we could’ve pulled back by the garage so we didn’t have to carry our stuff from the street all the way back. Having said all that, we still enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again.

I am SO glad we are staying at this property! It is so beautiful, quiet, and comfortable. All our needs are met. I pack hangers on every trip and this is the first time I don't need to use mine :) There is enough space for the three of us to spread out and be in a spot to ourselves. The closet and a large piece of furniture provides storage for clothing. There is enough cookware in the kitchen to cook meals you you wish. The pool is amazing and surrounding space perfect to chill out and read a book or listen to the birds - the animal kind as well as the man made kind. This really is the perfect place for our days here, you will love it too!
