"Petit havre de paix. Nous y sommes arrêtés pour une nuit afin de couper le trajet Lisbonne-Douru à Evora. Des hôtes accueillants et très chaleureux. Des lits très confortables et une chambre d’une propreté impeccable. Petit déjeuner délicieux avec yogourt au miel local et des fruits frais et juteux cueillis à même l’arbre. Mium! "My friend and I were staying here on a trip viewing property to buy in the area. The nicest house we saw on the trip was the one we were staying in! It is every bit as good as it seems in the photos - especially the garden area. A great place to soak up the Portuguese sunshine. Jose, the owner was there to greet us and was very helpful. Although one probably does need a car to stay here although we did walk to Penela one day - 3.2 miles. - perfectly do-able."

"We really enjoyed the location. The views were great. Plenty of room to move around in. There was no one to let us in. We climbed the fence and found the key box. Communication with Chris was difficult as they were on vacation and their return delayed. A few days later he did visit us to discuss the pool being so cold we could not use it. It never got warm enough to be enjoyed. A pity as it was a nice pool. We enjoyed the games room. We did have a problem with the toilets backing up and being...
