"My husband & I stayed 3 nights at this apartment. Can’t beat the view from the terrace. Nice home base for all we wanted to do In Pinhão. Took an 8 hour wine tour with Douro Tours…visited wineries, view points, lunch & boat ride….really nice day & our guide Phillip was wonderful! Our favorite places in Pinhao....O'Porco store...really nice older gentleman that recommended olives & cheese via of our translator app. Pra Li Bar...best sandwiches...tried the tuna, chicken & pork...all were so tasty...

"We were very impressed by this apartment; the best that we stayed in during our three week trip to Portugal. We arrived late in the afternoon to find a spread of meats and cheese, fresh bread, and a large bowl of fruit. In the refrigerator was milk, orange juice, eggs, yogurt and a bottle of wine. A fresh loaf of bread was delivered every morning. When Ana says breakfast is included she really pampered us. The view from the balcony over the river was wonderful. "Die alte Mühle ist ein sehr schön hergerichtetes Ferienhäuschen für 2 Personen, in dem es alles gibt, was man so braucht. "We had an amazing two-night stay. Maria and the staff go above and beyond to share restaurant recommendations and insights on the region. The room was comfortable and the pool a nice treat. There are wineries within walking distance and Pinhao is a short drive away. We highly recommend staying at Casa do Santo because it provides an authentic Douro experience that can't be matched."
