"The Finch is as it looks, an old motor lodge gussied up to be a cheap fairly nice place to stay. It's quirky because they decided it should be quirky. We were give a warm glass of white wine at checkin. Nice gesture executed poorly. Dude at reception was honestly just rude and unpleasant. Really put me off. Not engaging. Not welcoming. Mostly just a go away attitude. Set the place on the wrong foot initially. Our room tho... It was huge and comfortable and really nice. It was quirky. The bed was good. The shower pleasant, even very good. Plenty of space for us to set up shop. Don't believe the part about blackout curtains. This was one of the brightest rooms in the universe. The shades didn't vaguely fit the windows. Don't lie to people about that. It's annoying like your reception guy. The hotel is great and I would probably stay here again. It's cheap in a fantastic location."
