In der Nähe von Coimbra und ca. 1 Stunde Autofahrt vom Meer entfernt in zentraler Lage im Land, um Ausflüge in verschiedene Richtungen zu machen. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home of Jos! The house was located close to cafe's and attractions in Penela. The house is very well stocked with utensils, small appliances and anything you could need to feel at home. The house was clean and the back yard area was pleasant to sit out and view the mountain. The house was more than affordable! Jos even checked on us twice to make sure everything was ok. Thank you for letting us stay."

"We had an absolutely delightful stay. Everything we needed and a great location to visit sites in northern Portugal. So convenient to have a restaurant right next door. Excellent food and reasonably priced. Hosts were amazing. Quiet area and super relaxing. Will stay here again."

"We added Gondramaz to our itinerary at the last minute and this stay ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. João was very helpful, accommodating and quick to reply. The place was spotless, charming and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The house was tastefully renovated and furnished while keeping the original look of the schist house. "The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location. The walk-in shower was lovely. The bed was comfortable. The air-conditioning worked well. The room was a good size. It would be good to have more hangers in the wardrobe. There wasn't a safe in the room. The breakfast was nice. The rooftop bar was great and a really nice place for us all to meet for drinks before we went out for dinner. I would definitely stay here again for the price we paid. "

I ❤️ Coimbra

"We were upgraded to a corner room with an oversized balcony looking out over the pool to the river. Spacious room, quiet, plenty of shelf and drawer space. The staff were amazing, Portuguese-friendly. Breakfast was very nice, with lots of hot and cold options including an omelet station. Location was very walkable to the Old Town, and also to the opposite side of the river and the Santa Clara monastery, plus walkways on both sides of the river."

"Really cool little hotel (16 room) in the center on Coimbra. Rooms are all very well decorated. Breakfast in good quality. In the middle of most of the sights and restaurants - the university is at the top of the hill which is a “challenging” walk. Only issue was the reception - not always somebody there for checkin and door is locked. "

"Great stay and great location. Staff were warm and friendly. I did not have a chance to visit some local restaurants because of all the steps and steep hills but, luckily for me and my family, the onsite restaurant was A+. Delicious food offered for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is the place to stay at in Coimbra."
