"Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt für zwei Nächte. Das Zimmer war absolut in Ordnung und sauber. Das Frühstück und das Essen im Pub waren sehr lecker und das Personal und insbesondere die Inhaber sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kamen sehr schön über unseren Talbot Samba ins Gespräch. :-) Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen."

"Disappointed that TV didn't work, nor was there a radio. Also room didnt have a lock apparantly as the room was designated as a fire escape. The good points were the breakfast and cleanliness and bed comfortable."

"the staff very helpful food was very good , excellent value."

"AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! stayed here for work, only room left available was a "superior suite" arrived at the property which is in a very remote area (which was nice but also left nothing to do) checked in to find my "suite" had been forcibly downgraded to a twin room, after i'd checked in i went straight for dinner because the restaurant was due to close at 9pm (food was very average as well, i'm 1/4 Italian and the italian cuisine here was tasteless and small im portion size, very...

"We arrived late and were met by amazing helpful staff that not only stayed late to check us in but also helped us upstairs with our bags. The room was perfect, beds were comfy and bathroom was very nice. Breakfast the next morning was great, fruit, cereal, pastries and coffee for £10. Highly highly recommended if you are looking for a quiet and cozy stay in wales."

"Breakfast was good. Nothing else was. Not recommended. Our room was directly above the bar with a live band, which meant room shaked and vibrated. Continued until after 11pm to be replaced with loud music until midnight. When asking the staff what time it would finish, the manager intervened into an amicable conversation and proceeded to be aggressive, confrontational and abusive towards to me. This included calling me an offensive term multiple times. And suggesting to his staff that they...

"Very nice and relaxing stay"

"Spacious and well appointed room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent stay."

"I found the breakfast was very poor quality which wasn't cooked very well, I had cornflakes and toast which couldn't be messed with"

"Lovely stay in the middle of Beaumaris with helpful staff and great breakfast in well maintained old pub"

"Charming place with history. So much nicer than a formula hotel. Also the inhouse restaurants are recommended. It was my 3rd or 4th time here, while driving from Ireland back to the Netherlands. Just 10 minutes away from where the Dublin-Holyhead ferry arrives."

"Our second visit to the Menai and it won’t be our last. The staff are so lovely, helpful and friendly that you feel so welcomed and comfortable. The room was warm, spacious and the towels and bedding were clean. Lots of tea/coffee provided in the room and this was replenished by the staff whenever needed. Breakfast was freshly cooked and prompt as you order your choices the night before for a specific timeslot the following morning. Yes, the place has creaky old floorboards and the decor is...

"Clean room, comfy bed but a bit noisy with traffic as it is on a main road. On a plus note it is just across road from train station so ideal for travellers."

"Horrible staff"
