"We had a lovely one night stay whilst walking on Gower. Rooms are smartly appointed and comfy, in the evening there is an excellent small plates menu on offer plus ice cream parlour. Popular with locals so had a nice atmosphere, but by 10.30pm the crowds had gone and we had a quiet night's rest. Ideal for Wales Coast path walkers."

"It's a very old house and because of that, heating was sparse (I was cold the entire time). Lots of character with peacocks, pigs, and geese. The first night, the internet was just fine. But by the next morning it wasn't working for the next 16 hours. I don't use it for work, so that wasn't so much of a problem. The host is charming but I couldn't reach her by phone. So if you're understanding about certain things, you'll enjoy this property."

"Very quiet, with a very large bed for the room.The en-suite was amazing.The internet worked well, but the TV reception was spotty. There's complimentary tea and coffee, but if you want a continental breakfast, it's £7 extra. Within walking distance of the harbor."

"Excellent stay with a twin room overlooking the golf course. Great location for Mumbles. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. It would be good if the room had full blackout blinds or curtains as the room got the sun very early in the morning and lit the room up even with the blinds closed. Would have liked a slightly bigger towel but that’s being very picky. The best thing about the stay was the breakfast - it was really nice with lots of choice. I would definitely stay here again. "

"The people who run this B&B went out of their way to make me feel welcome and to make sure I had everything I needed. Room was basic but clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was not ensuite, but was assigned just to me and was across the landing. Two lovely, small dogs greeted me on my arrival: if you are afraid of dogs, this may be an issue. Things to improve? A cafetiere of ground coffee would have been appreciated at breakfast and individual packets of coffee and sugar in room, rather...

"Lovely location to beach, the owners were so welcoming and on hand should you need anything. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Room was spotless with the most comfortable bed. Supplies in the room were great and there was a fridge on site to replenish milk etc if needed. All in all a wonderful stay with great hosts and we will definitely be returning. "Helen & Matt are first class hosts and The Mill offers a peaceful, relaxed break in beautiful surroundings. As many others have said, breakfast is of hotel quality and freshly cooked to order. For our evening meals we took an easy 11 mile drive to Llandeilo where there were several options. Visiting National Botanic Gardens was easy (once we used a map and ignored SatNag!) and that's an excellent day trip. We rarely visit the same place twice, however, we wouldn't hesitate to return to The Mill...

"Stayed for 1 night and very quiet and peaceful. Room 4 was a goid size but the tv remore was missing and the shower wasnt very warm but very peaceful and bed really comfy ..host was lovely and we had a lovely cooked breakfast so overall i think it was worth the money and we will come again..great place for exlploring..."
