"Great hotel in an awesome location. Lots to do on site (swimming, water slides, beach, yoga, table tennis…etc all free, then lots of paid for options such as pastel, mountain biking, tennis, golf). Location was great, lots of opportunity to explore historic sites and natural beauty….not to mention local culture. Lots of on site restaurants but some of the local ones in Gialova were brilliant. "

"Enjoyed the flatness of Nafplio after the hills of Athens. Nice boutique hotel close to everything. Easy walk to many restaurants and cafes. Friendly, helpful hotel staff. Free carpark near the marina but very busy. Large room accessable by lift. Comfortable bed, shower in bath. Good wifi. Mini bar but no kettle. Cooked breakfast in the attached restaurant but you have to choose the day before and remember to change your order if you want something different tomorrow. We drove to the Palamidi...

"A great week at a great new(ish) resort! We loved popping into Gialova for dinner most nights and the hotel concierge happily arranged reservations and a taxi. Just 10 euros each way if you don’t want to walk. Highly recommend Anama, Elia and Kochili Fish in particular. Overall very good service and lovely friendly staff with a few very minor exceptions. "If you are going to Nafplio, the Espero is a great place to stay! Only a block from the water, parking available within two blocks, and all major attractions are walkable from the hotel. The breakfast was a major plus here -- they have their own restaurant which offers excellent food as part of your stay! We stayed in the top floor, which came with a rooftop patio where we could hang out, and even offered a jacuzzi/hot tub
