"Very cute cabin with a gorgeous lake view! We stayed during mid Sept and i thought it would be cooler. The cabin had no AC so that was the only thing that I didnt like. If you plan on going in late fall i think it would be perfect but summer might be warm. They had plenty of fans to help keep the place cooler. Overrall, we loved our stay here!"

"Beautiful, clear water with sandy bottom and gradual slope from shore. Nice view of lake from wall of windows in living area. Kitchen fairly well stocked. Could have used a Pyrex measuring cup to heat water in microwave and some clean hot pads. Grill was not usable as grid was rusting. Paddle boat was broken so couldn't use it, but had canoe and kayaks. Was nice to have a gas fireplace for chilly evenings and an outdoor firepit. Tub/shower had good water pressure. Bed was comfortable."

"It was unique and an interesting piece of history. Views from the deck were fantastic. However, outside area around the plane could have been trimmed. Firepit was a mess and no desire to use it because it was in bad shape, not inviting. The dock was spongy and too small for two people to fish off of. Some of this may be due to recent rains. "We hate a late summer family vacation and this property was perfect. We had 4 days with just my husband, our dog and I and then our two children, their spouses and 10 month old babies joined the rest of the week. We had plenty of room for everyone. The house was perfect for us. Having a dog we were a little nervous as to what to expect but it was perfect. There was an extra leash and dog toys. All unexpected but appreciated. "Took family here for fall getaway and greatly enjoyed our time, as well as, enjoying the cabin and property. The private beach was a hit for our 7 year old son along with the games in basement. Silver lake is a nice clean lake and the neighborhood is well maintained. "
