"We stayed in this hidden gem for 2 nights with another couple. We rented a Superior Villa with a kitchenette and 2 bedrooms but upon arriving we were surprised to see that it was a lot smaller than the photos led us to believe. It would be better for a family then 2 couples as the bedroom with the double bed only had a privacy curtain. Both rooms were open above the door so that the AC which is only in the single beds room, could cool the entire villa. We did not eat there, which is good because...

"Max and his wife are fantastic, caring amd interesting people who treat you like family. Max is supremely knowledge of the area, the dinning options and activities available. He is responsive and helps you book and facilitate everything. The place is clean centeral and has the great vibe of staying with family. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The coffee is divine. This is one of the best places i have stayed at in a long time. I highly recommend Mavi."

"Clean modern room, best shower in Costa Rica at this pricepoint. Fast wifi with excellent coverage. No AC, but room is designed for that with large screens just below the ceiling and a big overhead fan. We stayed for two nights when day time temps were in the upper 80s on the beach, and we were very comfortable at altitude with the breezes from the ocean. The host, Lori, is a gem. "Beautiful setting. Pond with foliage all around. A bit secluded though. Rooms were amazing. Open spaces in room & large shower area. You can definitely hear the jungle. It felt like glamping in the jungle. The breakfast was delicious & homemade. At your convenience as well. Wish there was meat though. Hosts were lovely & friendly. Very accommodating. The price equals what you receive. It was a bit costly though if you are on a budget. Lots of positives including amenities!"

Jessica was always there when you need her. Plenty of food for breakfast which is served near the pool and astonishing view over the mountains, valleys , forest and even the sea!!!!!! "The rooms are basic, clean, and functional. The air conditioner was barely able to cool the room enough for daytime sleeping probably due to poor seals around the window and door.The shower was cold water only and was missing a shower head so water just poured out of an open pipe....functionally okay. The bathroom was stocked with paper and a couple kinds of soaps. The towels and bedding were of decent quality and clean. The shared refrigerator was very full so space was limiting and the ice...
