"The Yotel London was in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk to the Farringdon tube station. There were several nice restaurants nearby. My room was clean and quiet and the bed was quite comfortable. However, there was absolutely no counter space in the bathroom, which had a sink the size of a placemat. I did have a refrigerator in my room but no coffee or tea pot and they charge 2.50 pounds for coffee in the lobby. We didn't eat breakfast there because it was so expensive at 18 pounds per day. Also, there were no drawers to put clothes in and only 4 hangers in what I would call a stall rather than a closet. There was no desk but a small stand that housed the safe. I was staying for 11 nights so it was a challenge to figure out where to put everything. The other thing I found difficult is that the only place to plug in a hair dryer or curling iron had no mirror near it. So I couldn't see what I was doing. It was really inconvenient. For $300 per night I expect more."

"Lovely hotel, exactly what we needed to get away from the chaos of London! Room was very clean and very quiet - couldn't hear any noise from adjoining rooms. Felt very luxurious as well. A quiet little oasis, would definitely stay again."

"the rooms were hot at least they gave a fan to cool the room a bit , excellent location and great food at vicinity restaurant , the bath tub was kinda high too for seniors"

"I was a little apprehensive booking this hotel after reading some the reviews elsewhere. I shouldn't have been concerned as I had a great stay and a lovely room. The view over the river was great and the room itself very spacious with a good bathroom and a superbly comfortable bed. There were a fair number of students in the hotel but I think they were accommodated in a separate wing. Location good as there are buses very close that serve Surrey Quays and Canada Water stations. I did walk to Surrey Quays (about 25 minutes). Also a free (for hotel guests) ferry from the hotel pier connecting with Canary Wharf and it's amenities and transport interchange. Very reasonable rates too. No tea or coffee facilities in the room but available from the bar and reception. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again."

Point A London Kings Cross - St Pancras

"Was traveling with a friend and we both booked rooms without windows. My room was considerably smaller than hers; like so small, that if my suitcase was open on the floor, there was no walkway to the door. A windowless room is fine if you are just staying a night or two, but if you are staying more, it will feel a little like a dungeon (we stayed 4 nights). The shower door really should have been mounted on the other side. If you are in a larger body, you’d never make the small gap to get into the shower because the sink stuck out in front of the shower entrance. The air conditioning was a nice relief as we were there during a heat wave, which was probably the only saving grace. There is weird “mood lighting” that it took me forever to figure out how to turn off and I had to turn it off every night. Everything costs extra. You want to check in early, that’s £15. You want to store your bags, that’s £3 per bag. I didn’t bother with breakfast. Also, the main elevators are wildly small. There is a larger elevator in another hall that is best to take luggage in."

"If you accept that it’s an airport hotel and therefore a conveyor belt of people then it’s fine (if expensive) for its convenience to T5. Check in usually involves a queue, the bedrooms need a general update and the in room tech is antiquated (only miracast for the TVs - no plug sockets next to the bed let alone usb’s - touch button light switches broken etc). Feels a bit of a time warp really and could do with a refurb."
