"Lovely property .. great location in heart of Rye. We stayed in a cosy room .. it was fab, beautiful decor and great facilities. Great breakfast nice bar. Staff were great but in particular a great duo on reception ( didn’t get names) but a blonde lady so accommodating allowing us to leave bags before checking in, so we could explore Rye and an Australian male that impressed us in returning a missed phone call before arriving and ensuring we had a pleasant stay. "The staff and owner made our stay memorable, their attention to making sure their customers needs were met, the rooms were very clean, the restaurant menu was very good and was freshly cooked. This is an ideal place for artists and bird watchers the view from the room is unbelievable, also the bird life sight and sound is brilliant. Can't recommend the Lodge enough. There are places"

"Very convenient location for hopping on Ashford International, the brewery across the road is great and you get a discount if you show them your room key, plus there's a corner store right there too. Clean rooms, good breakfast options, staff was nice (though the person checking me in did stop to have a somewhat heated discussion with another employee mid-check in), overall definitely worth staying if you want somewhere to stay before an early train."
