Mountain Views at Rim Country Chalet

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. National forest access on two sides, this mountain cabin is spacious, incredibly pretty and features some of the best views in Payson, AZ. Located at the top of a hill, you will love the quiet. Huge wrap-around deck is perfect for gazing at the famed Mogollon rim and for Elk watching. Wildlife is abundant and the trail to go off roading is just down the road. Close proximity to lakes, camping, creeks, trout fishing and town.

The good:The host was super friendly, and the kitchen was fully stocked with pans, cups, plates, and utensils. The pantry even had a few basic spices and essentials. The views were amazing, overlooking a golf course and the mountains. The hot tub was great, the rooms were spacious, and the master bathroom had a large shower and bathtub. Bath towels were a good size, with plenty available for everyone.The okay:The pool table was in okay shape; one of the rails was broken, so balls couldn’t bounce properly off it. The mattresses were firmer than we prefer, and the ice maker on the fridge did not work.Overall:Amazing property!! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property, especially for groups looking for a spacious home with great views and a responsive host.

This house has a great view and great location. It is very dirty and run down. Spider webs on the corners. Floor was dirty. We didn’t even want to cook in the kitchen due to lack of cleanliness. We will not be back. It’s unfortunate when you pay good money and have a filthy dirty house that you can’t wait to leave. I hope they clean it up for the next people.

Perfect for all Ages!!

My family and my Sister family enjoyed the place. The kids had a great time with their stay and want to come back next summer in payson and stay in the same cabin. They have cots for babies and bunk beds for kids. The view from the house was lovely that will make you appreciate mother nature more. The manager of the unit was hospitable and anticipated all our needs.

Perfect weekend

My family and I stayed at this beautiful cabin for our elopement weekend. The hosts were so kind to us brought down cookies a high chair for my daughter truly went above and beyond for us. 10/10 definitely staying here again!

Great place!

Inside absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of room with toys and extras for kids. Even though you are not out in the woods, you felt like it. Bouns points for being super close to Payson's downtown and 1 and a half hours from the Valley. The managers were fabulous too.

Great getaway

The location was great, close to everything, shopping and restaurants. The house was great, love the pool table and spa! It had mostly everything in the kitchen you will need except for storing leftover food (foil and baggies); lastly the wifi password is not posted anywhere visible, (suggestion - put it on the note on the refrigerator with the house rules) with the help of the neighbor entering the home, he found in a cabinet (we hadn't checked yet).

Invaded our privacy

LOVED THE CABIN but Antoinnette Brown the property manager decided to walk in the cabin that was locked proceeded to come all the way to the door. Knock on the door, waking us up just to tell us that we use the wrong towels. That was disturbing, I couldn’t go back to sleep nor sleep that night . My husband was not even dressed . We travel a lot and never had a incident like this it made us uncomfortable, uneasy and it was simply not ok …. Hopefully it doesn’t t happen to you.

Great stay

The house was nice and comfortable. Unfortunately when we arrived I had no service on my phone so I could not look up the entry code. We had to drive back into town to get service. But if I had been prepared this would’ve been a non issue. House was clean and nice. Wi Fi was spotty at best. Otherwise, great stay! I would recommend this place.

Great spot for an outing with the boys

This was a phenomenal place to stay for me and a small group of lifelong friends. We had everything we needed on site or a short walk / drive away. Home was clean and prepped for our arrival. Ping pong / pool table stole the show! Thanks for a great weekend!

Fun and easy

Check in process was simple and easy. The owners were close by and reached out when we got there and made sure we had everything that we needed for a great stay. The house was clean and it’s very close to anything that you might need like a bravery store or places to eat. Lovely view and a great stay.

Second time at property

We had the best time at this house! Super clean! everything we needed for a BBQ was there! Bob and Antoinette made our stay extra special and we will definitely be back! I also loved the board games there for family time, with the jacuzzi and the pool table! hardly wanted to leave the house :)

Great view and quiet location

We loved our stay. The view is beautiful and the house is quiet at night. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with all of the necessities, shampoo, soap.. The only suggestion would be to clean the windows to be able to enjoy the view from inside the house.

Amazing views and place

This home had everything we needed! It was so clean and the space was amazing! We were able to cook our own meals with their fully stocked kitchen. I would definitely recommend this place for families or just a bunch of friends who want to get away.

Rest and relax with a view

My wife and I took a few friends to celebrate her belated birthday. I was so lucky to find this amazing house for our long weekend. The listing was accurate, and the property was amazing. Very clean and well stocked with what we needed for a fantastic BBQ. The views are exceptional and it's very peaceful and quiet. I will say the driveway is a bit daunting (very steep) but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. When we arrived, we met Antoinette who not only lives next store but is the property Manger so if there was anything we needed at all she said just holler. She was very sweet and helpful. We were so pleased, and my wife was so happy I can't thank you enough. We will comeback for sure and pass on our experience with friends and family looking for a nice getaway.
