"Having on hand printed my already paid booking with Expedia, where the room was pool view (was on the description of my booking), they tell me that to have that room I would pay extra money, I choose the room with pool view and air conditioning but they give me a room behind the hotel with a fan. We only spent one night there and we lost the money for the rest of the days. Could be a problem between Expedia and the Hotel but the hotel only ask for more money and Expedia doesn't allow to cancel...

"Staff was so accomodating and nice. Felt well tsken care of dueing our stay. The villa qas wxactly as the pictures showed and we loved it. Only downside is other dining and shops are not wothin easy walking distance but that was also part of the appeal. We didnt want to be in the middle of the tourist hustle and bustle. This also allowed us to not get stuck in traffic when our driver took us to activitiee. Overall i wpuld stay here again! "

"Lovely little hotel tucked away from the busy Ubud streets. The best thing about the hotel is their staff – super attentive and nothing is too much trouble. They really go above and beyond! The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was nice, but the dinner options were a bit bland. Airport transfer was smooth and easy and laundry service was great. I'd say the pictures are reflective of the actual hotel, room and surroundings, only thing is that it's a bit dated in places. I...

There was a perfect little shala that I utilized for an online yoga class in the morning and it created for a magical class. Would absolutely stay here again & highly recommend. "Great location and property. Pictures are what you get. The owners pandi and balik are what makes this place so great though. As it was my first time to bali i was unsure of where to go and what to do. Balik drove me on his scooter almost everyday for free, although this may not always be the case. They also remt scooters. On my last day we had a family dinner which was amazing. "

"Villa Kayu Raja is in a good location, but not really walkable to restaurants or the beach, especially at night. The sidewalk ends a bit before the villa, so you’re left walking in the busy street. The villa itself is nice, but I was unimpressed with the private pool. It is very small and the yard itself is deceiving in size from the pictures. Virtually no sunlight comes into the pool area as well, so the pool is a bit chilly and you aren’t able to do any sun tanning. The price is a bit steep...
