"Staff very welcoming, professional snd informative. Dinner in the restaurant was superb. It was our first experience of sleeping in a ‘pod’ which, although small, was very well designed. The towels were beautifully soft. The complementary drinks in the fridge, and the wine, coffees, teas and biscuits etc laid out for us, was a generous touch and much appreciated."

"Lovely room in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately I was taken ill and had to leave early before breakfast as I needed to get to urgent care in Berwick for medication, for a Chest Infection. But would recommend based on my experience of the room."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stables Cottage. On arrival the welcome pack was very thoughtful and much appreciated. We found the cottage well presented and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Stables cottage is conveniently located for both coast and country, alongside being in a secluded and peaceful setting within landscaped gardens. The surrounding gardens and wildlife providing much interest throughout our stay. Stables cottage is highly recommended as a comfortable location and base from which to explore this area of the Scottish Borders and Northumberland."
