"Perfect honeymoon property. This property is a hidden gem. Found it last minute and was extremely delightful with the spacious private bungalow, fireplace, hammock, outdoor shower and overall creative architectural design nestled in the rainforest and surrounded by farms. The fresh farm to table breakfast was rich in flavor and the service was attentive without being overbearing. The only con would be no cell phone service and limited wifi connectivity. "

"A little work to get there - might need 4-wheel drive, but so worth it. After being in 2 different locations around Costa Rica, when we settled in here my wife commented that she could finally "vacation". This place is SO zen! The birds and gardens are everything that is advertised and MORE. The house and deck are beautiful with perfect views. So many birds will call you to come join them in the morning. The hot water is the only thing that might need to be upgraded. Washing dishes at the kitchen sink needed hotter water - it never did get warm enough. Barely hot enough water in the shower, although it was enough. A slight bit of cold was added to make a good shower, so that was adequate. Just a little more house cleaning would have made this perfection! There were a number of dead bugs on the floors, and cobwebs/spiderwebs in places that should have been removed. But we ABSOLUTELY would come back. I walked the garden trails every morning, looking and listening to the wonderful symphony of bird songs."

"The host was wonderful and even brought us a fruit welcome. The home is great and bedrooms are set to either side of spacious common area, full kitchen, and an amazing deck that looks out over the town and volcano. We had an incredible stay!"

"We are very private people, and hate it when we rent a cabin and have any other houses within sight, to say nothing of those rentals with next door neighbors right on top of you. This gorgeous little cabin is tucked in the middle of the CR rain forest. No neighbors at all. Just hummingbirds, gorgeous butterflies and lots of other wildlife. The cabin was simple, but tidy, and provided everything we needed. Bill and Rosalee are extremely gracious hosts, and made the check-in/out process as easy as it comes. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit. :)"
