"This motel is an older -say 1950’s- type place that has been well maintained. The place was clean and the mattress was superb — as I needed a good night’s sleep! The Lady during checkin was pleasant and efficient. It’s located in an area with plenty of restaurants and other touristy places - being on historic Route 66!!!!"

It was definately worth it to drive the extra 24 minutes for a nicer, cleaner room with a bigger, more comfortable bed and TV, a mini fridge and microwave for the same price as Grand Canyon Caverns In. "This is a nice hotel, especially for the price. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful, always greeted us with smile. Our room was nicely appointed, clean and quiet. The free breakfast selection was fantastic, too. We loved our stay and are switching to the Lux Verde from where we used to stay in Cottonwood when we visit the area."
