The hosts were good communicators and went above and beyond, offering to do things that they wouldn't be required to do, like early check in. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. "Our family had such a wonderful stay for the July 4th week. This home is close to so many Adirondack activities, from hiking trails, lakes to swim and boat, and kid friendly fun. There was something for everyone in our family, aged 5- adult. Our host put so much thought and attention to detail into our stay. We were welcomed and felt at home and so cozy. "Moreno's Cottages are a pleasant series of little cabins between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. My brother and I stayed in #7. There were two twin beds, a nook and a small, separate kitchen area. It was rustic, but modern enough to feel like you had a place to relax after a hike. We did have some problems getting in, but Todd was super accommodating and had backup codes for us to use. "This property is a gem! Well appointed, spotless, beautiful views, quiet surroundings, and the owners are lovely! Easy check in, and comfortable beds too. "We stayed at the”Blackhaus” January 19-23. The house was perfect for our 3 teenage boys and my wife and I. It is a bit off the road which offers serenity and peace. The house is well appointed and met all of our needs. It is located just about 8 minutes from whiteface ski resort and about 22 minutes to lake placid. I Will definitely stay here again. "
