"We had an amazing week long stay at Gustavo’s house in Lamay. The house and property are unique and beautiful and located in a stunning valley surrounded by mountains. One of the many mountain rivers that feed the Urubamba runs right through the beautifully designed and maintained grounds. Gustavo’s communication and attention to detail is excellent, he supplied us with fantastic information throughout our trip planning and supported us as flight cancellations altered our plans. He made sure we were comfortable with every aspect of the house and property when we arrived and was always quick to reply whenever I reached out to him.Whatever requests we had throughout the trip were quickly handled by Gustavo, Sharme and Lalo. Sharme’s cooking is fantastic and we enjoyed delicious breakfasts and dinners throughout our stay. Her management of the house and property is equally skillful. Lalo drove us all around the Sacred Valley, taking us to the major sites but also using his extensive knowledge to show us some less well known spots that we never would have seen otherwise. Lalo was a great resource and guide, all of his recommendations were excellent and the whole family enjoyed all of our day trips. The care and attention taken by the team to support and welcome us, coupled with the transcendent beauty of the Sacred Valley made this an unforgettable stay and one that I would strongly recommend to anyone who is headed to the Cusco area."

From the moment I arrived, the service was nothing short of awesome. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and attended to, offering genuine warmth and helpful advice throughout my stay. The rooms were impeccably clean, a detail I always appreciate, and the comfort they offered was a welcome retreat after a day of exploring. One of the absolute highlights was the 24/7 hot water—a seemingly small detail that makes a huge difference, especially after a long day of adventuring in the Andes. Knowing I could always enjoy a warm shower was incredibly comforting. But the true hidden gem of this hotel has to be the stunning terrace located on the fourth floor. It's not just a terrace; it's a tranquil oasis! The views from up there are simply beautiful and incredibly relaxing, offering a panoramic vista of Pisac that allows you to truly soak in the town's charm. "Everybody there was very accommodating and helpful. Additionally the food was good and so was the service. The house is located on a beautiful property which allows you to enjoy your stay even if you don’t feel like leaving the house for a bit."

"I had my wallet stolen by the front clerk. I have an apple tracker in it that chimes, thankfully. Here is the story: I woke up and my wallet was gone. I opened my tracker app and played the chime. The wallet ended up being in the room next to me. I alerted the front desk, we found it, all the money was gone, they said “we don’t know the number for the police station”. I walked two blocks to the police. They kindly accompanied me back to the hotel. The money was magically found in the bed of the room where the wallet was and the police asked me not to file charges since the money was found. In between the cracks, obviously the clerk stole my wallet. Returned my money. And all was well in the end. Still, I wouldn’t dare stay here again. "
