"Very quaint and homey, perfect for two travelers looking for a cheap stay near the Chamonix area. Fabienne and the rest of the staff were kind and accommodating, evidenced by them working with us when we encountered bus and flight delays. Rooms were cleaned daily. Additionally, you have the option to pay the first day you arrive or the last (if you plan on taking advantage of the hotel breakfast, it’s easier to pay upon checking out). Would stay again if we decide to journey out to Chamonix....

"بالرغم من ان الفندق نجمتين ولكن ك خدمة ونظافه وحتى الاكل يعتبر رائع . طاقم الفندق جميل وخدوم وودود للغايه. المشكلتين الوحيدتين بالاصوات لاتوجد عوازل داخليه وايضا لمن لا يحب المشي مسافة معينه لن يعجبه . لا يوجد مصعد كذلك "

"Fint hotel, veldig sentralt. Greit å få avklart på forhånd ang.tidlig utsjekk. Vi ville forlate hotellet før kl.8, men måtte betale turistskatt. Det var ingen som kunne ta i mot betalingen, de som jobbet i resepsjonen var ikke der. Det ordnet seg, men tok litt tid å få det avklart. Ellers fint med basseng og matbutikk rett over veien. "

"What a pleasant surprise! We booked this family run hotel last-minute and were blown away by the service and the amazing views of the mountains. The building is a bit dated due to being in business for over 100 years by the same family, but don’t let that turn you away. The bathrooms and bedding are modern, and everything about this hotel is charming. I highly recommend!"

"Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day. This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather...

"I was mislead by the comments that posted here. The old man in the front desk was uncooperative and when I asked him about the area he give me the maps. The area away from the city center and need car. The breakfast is below expectations. I will not recommend this hotel to my friends"

"Very good hotel overall. Breakfast is bit high and suppose it come with room rate since the rate is high. However, the restaurant has marvelous food and choices. Neverthless,the chef there is very proficient"
