"Upon our arrival we were greeted by the owner himself who gave us a tour of the house and property. He was very welcoming and eager to ensure our stay at the Starlight was enjoyable. The house had a fresh pot of summer flowers as well as a plate full of chocolates for all to enjoy. The house was spacious with ample room for our large group. "Great property. Clean and spacious. Lots of things for the kids to do. The zipline was a huge hit. Hot tub was amazing and very clean. Was right beside some incredible mountain biking. There was also a fantastic running path right down the road that dogs can run off leash. The house itself was perfect. Lots of room for the kids to play and sleep comfortably. The ping pong table was also a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again. Probably one of the best houses we have ever rented on VRBO."

"The house is beautiful, and the view of the lake from the back deck is breathtaking. The kitchen is beyond well equipped. When prepping meals for our crew - everything we hoped to find we found! The bedrooms are pretty, and super comfortable. Kristin is really responsive but also has that lovely Kootenay vibe. Welcoming and relaxed. Best rental experience ever! Thanks Kristine."

"I loved my stay at this property, it is exactly as shown and has a lovely calm energy that is so welcoming. I was greeted with a delicious loaf of sourdough (still warm!) along with coffee staples which made feel at home right off the bat, such an appreciated welcome! Chara is a lovely host, attentive and responsive. The suite is walking distance to everything downtown and is super quiet and is very well equipped. I highly recommend this property and very much look forward to my next stay here....

"The location of this property is breathtaking for and out of towner like me! Perfect distance for peace and yet a 2 minute drive from downtown. "This was a great location for our day trips to halcyon and ainsworth Hot springs. Also a nice hike along the Kaslo River and a tour of the Moyie Sternwheeler. The hosts are very accommodating, responsive, and kind. We cooked a lot of meals in the home, and there are lots of pots and pans, cooking and eating utensils, salt and pepper, and food basics like butter, olive oil, condiments. No microwave, so keep that in mind. We would love to come back to the area and stay more nights."
