"We stayed at hotel La Vela while attending a wedding nearby. We were more than pleasantly surprised by the hotel itself. It was in an excellent location within the town, on a quiet street a couple of minutes walk from the historic center & lake. Rooms were clean with a balcony & nice bathroom & beds very comfortable. "Room with a view! Very nice! Contrary to some other reviews, our room was nicely clean nd the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very generous and tasty with a very attentive and friendly server. Strolled around and found a wonderful gourmet restaurant nearby on the main road with a view of the lake. Only drawback was, being a Friday night, the nearby outdoor bar was a little loud until around midnight. "

"We used this Hotel as a stop over for one night on our travels around Europe. We are British, they spoke perfect English and made us feel welcome. The rooms and en suits were large with a safe, hairdryer etc everything that top hotels offer.
