"Nice hotel and location. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. Blue badge parking, disapointing, only 2 places, then there is no lift from the car park, which is directly beneath reception. In stead, you have to walk outside, up and around to enter. Ok when it is dry."

We were delighted with the room - larger and much lighter than Premier Inn rooms, larger bathroom, good quality toiletries and very friendly staff. Will definitely look out for this chain in preference to Premier Inns in future! "

"The staff could not have been more helpful, I had to be admitted to hospital yesterday evening and my partner called the hotel who were so kind and understanding when it transpired that my belongings might need to be set aside. the lady who staffed the breakfast serving was so patient and smiley giving terrific customer service. "The house is a very unique house with a deep history set in extensive formal gardens. The staff, particularly in reception and the Restaurant are attentive and very pleasant. The age and design of the house allows functions such as weddings and prom parties to be held without disturbing other guests. It may be a little dog-eared but that seems to add to its charm."

"We had a really good stay at this hotel, the breakfast was one of the best we've had, the best selection and very tasty. The evening meal was also beautiful, can't fault any of the food. Family room was large and huge bed, but disappointed in the lack of air conditioning and the shower quality. It was a bit disappointing hearing one of the waitresses at the breakfast entrance talk to the younger staff in a very rude manner. Bit of a chip on her shoulder as all the staff who we seen cleared the plates quickly and refreshed all the food in good time. Probably the best service I've seen at breakfast. Only other small gripe was the child's pool times, extremely restricted, so please check this if your going with children and have a busy schedule. We would certainly return to the hotel."
