"We were very fortunate to stay in this bright, spacious and exceptionally clean apartment for nearly two weeks. The apartment is exactly as pictured. The bed is very comfortable and there is a large wardrobe for your belongs. The kitchen is very well-equipped. The living room has a nice sofa and smart tv. The shower is phenomenal. There is also a very nice balcony for relaxing in the evening. We were treated to a full moon one evening. It was lovely. The apartment is located a short, nice walk from the center of Merano. There are shops and restaurants nearby. Alex was an excellent host, communicating with us before and during our stay. He was very intuitive, listening to what we liked to do and making helpful suggestions. He made it a very personal experience for us. We highly recommend this apartment. "

"Lovely attentive staff. Unloaded luggage at the rear of the hotel and with help of great directions parked across the river in the secure underground parking at the Thermal Baths. Easy 5 minute walk back to the hotel lobby. Great spot!!"

" I cannot express enough the attention to detail this property executes to each guest! The staff strives to know you, check with you, & strive to do whatever they can for you. Not just once but every day. At least one of the owners are there every day, all day! They are truly passionate for what they do! The most senior of ownership onsite explained he is the 11th generation, & the 12th, & I believe the 13th generations are also working to make this operation work flawlessly! After 530 years it is Very Obvious they love what they do! Everything is First Class. Everything! This is seriously one of the best if not The Best run Hotels in the World that I ever experienced. The Restaurant is really on point. Wine list is unbelievable! We tend to try to drink local wines when in such fantastic growing regions, but their cellar has them all covered no matter your taste. The local whites are amazing here! Food is all locally sourced and they list where most is sourced from on the back of the menu. Every meal we had was Fantastic! Including the breakfast included. Rooms were clean, & comfortable! Italy is always hard to leave, but this Hotel was the hardest I can remember to in fact leave. I honestly hope to one day return to The Hotel Oberwirt. This is No BS a place you want to experience! It’s a place I will Never Forget!"

"Hotel Merano is a lovely family-run hotel that exceeded our expectations. The entire place gave us a very peaceful vibe and the staff was very courteous, friendly and thoughtful from beginning to end. We were a bit worried that we would feel out of place with a toddler (since the hotel tends to be quiet) but we didn’t feel that way at all. Our stay included a delicious buffet breakfast by the garden/pool. The room was immaculate, perfectly designed, and had everything we needed to have a pleasant stay. We sent our clothes to their private laundry facility and they got the task done quickly and for a very reasonable (low) cost. The pool was very clean as well. Merano is a beautiful place to visit and I would go back to Hotel Pollinger in a heartbeat!"
