"The most beautiful hotel with amazing staff. I consider myself very lucky to have stayed here and will highly recommend Cala Marina to everyone. My stay started with car service arranged through the hotel which was perfect both coming and going. Every day staying there was a pleasure with the kindest front desk and dining staff too. The breakfast buffet was delicious! I absolutely loved the lemon flavored croissants paired with a cappuccino. Room was comfortable, spacious and so clean. "Could not recommend this hotel more! We had a week of serene relaxation. The hotel is slightly outside the nearest town and not connected by public transport but the hotel is well served by local taxi. Fabulous if you are looking for a relaxing escape! Staff were incredible - polite, friendly, helpful, diligent (the list goes on)! No ask was too big or too trivial and someone was always on hand to help out. We were slightly late in the season so the hotel was quiet (no bad thing) but still had plenty of activities on (walks and exercise classes etc.) and live music on some days with dinner. The rooms are large, clean and well serviced! The spa is phenomenal… we went almost everyday and my fiancée loved her back massage. The pool and beach equally as incredible. The beach is a 15/20 minute drive away on a shuttle service (only a couple of options but this may have been time of year) but this is comfortable and timely. Food and drink options are plentiful at seemingly all hours of the day and we very much enjoyed overindulging at the hotel restaurant. All in all, a very pleasant and enjoyable trip - would certainly return to Almar!"

"Our flights were delayed and we did not arrive check in until 2:00 am. The man at the front desk was very helpful. We did not expect to stay in a hotel as we were supposed to be on a cruise ship. We did not have a way to charge all of our mobile devices and he found a device that would plug into the 220 Volt system and we were able to get all of our very important mobile devices charged up. The breakfast was fantastic."

"As soon as you walk in you step back into the 80s. This place needs a facelift and everything else included ASAP. The rooms are ok, the beds are hard! Cold tile flooring everywhere. The ALL INCLUSIVE is the biggest rip off EVER! The food is complete garbage and they only serve pasta and fish so if you don’t eat that you are screwed. If you want something to drink you have to walk from where you are eating and grabbing food to across the hotels lobby and to the bar. The only alcoholic drinks are some cheap wines they have. There are no towels at the pool. Theres a train that takes you to a beautiful beach and honestly that was the only thing making us happy until it broke down and we had to walk back with our 3 yr old twins. The staff at the buffet will watch you like hawks and correct you if you do something they dont approve of. Sicilians are just a whole different breed, I swear. Almost no one here at the hotel speaks English."

"The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Hotel in a good location. However, the room was the smallest room I have ever been in. Absolutely no room in the bathroom. They even had our towels on the bed. There was not room for 2 suitcases. Only one person could be walking around at a time. Very disappointing. And parking was a huge issue. But otherwise, a good stay"
