"The Maplewood Lakehouse is the PERFECT spot to gather with friends and family! The home itself is huge and inviting, but it's location to the town of Newport for gas, groceries, and take-out make it really stand out. This home has SO many bedrooms to accomodate our large group. We really appreciated having spaces to both be together (multiple living rooms, the game room/garage, and the kitchen/dining spaces) as well as the many bedrooms to have quiet space to recharge as well. "What a pleasant surprise to be in a home that has a real live in feel about it, with all the amenities to make a stay so tranquil and peaceful. We had a thunderstorm one night, but in looking back, it added to the cozy, local feel. I had occasion to speak with the owner and found him very comforting and reassuring about a problem that we encountered (did not feel that we would be faulted in any way for the situation and that all was fine).
