We had to take two rooms for a family of four because rooms are very tiny. I couldn’t open the washroom door because it was next to the bed. Another thing was the smell in room 606 we couldn’t tell what that was, something like dampness. So we had to open windows to air it out every time we came back to our room. The windows in both 606 and 607 washrooms didn’t have any window covers so we had to cover it with pillows to ensure that people across the street don’t see us. There are incredibly thin walls and a connecting door in room 606. I could hear every sound my neighbors made, their telephone conversations and even the person speaking on the other end. Couldn’t sleep well because they were arriving at 1 am and watching TV. Earplugs helped a bit. We literally had to whisper all the time.
Upon arrival we were advised to use the elevator by two people to avoid it getting stuck between the floors.
Otherwise it’s a modern and freshly renovated, has mattress covers, hot shower with good water pressure. We could probably stay there again if it wasn’t for the smell and the thin walls.
Room 607 was a little bigger and more comfortable.
Area is pretty nice and very walkable. About 25 minutes walk to Louvre and galleries Lafayette, lots of restaurants, grocery store and pharmacy nearby.
